Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and CodeSwift for using Voyage. We tried to write them as plainly as possible. The Portuguese version prevails in case of any discrepancy.

The agreement

By creating an account or using Voyage, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What Voyage does

Voyage builds road trip itineraries within Brazil, with breaks, meals, attractions and overnight stops, estimates the cost of the road and saves everything on your phone for offline use. Itineraries combine third-party data, such as Google Maps, with texts and suggestions written by artificial intelligence.

Estimates, not guarantees

Check before you go

Distances, arrival times, the duration of each stretch, tolls, fuel, charging, prices, opening hours and accommodation availability are estimates. They come from third-party sources and may be out of date, and traffic, weather and roadworks change everything. Texts written by AI may contain mistakes.

Before relying on a stop, especially an overnight stay, a fuel station or a charger, confirm with the place itself. Decisions about your trip are yours.

Road safety

Don't use your phone while driving: leave that to the passenger or to the stops. Follow traffic laws, road signs and road conditions, which always come before the itinerary. Rest when you need to, even outside the suggested breaks.

Your account

You sign in with your e-mail and a code sent to it. Keep access to your e-mail secure: whoever has access to it can sign in to your account. The account is personal. Provide accurate information and tell us if you notice any use that wasn't yours.

Plans and payments

Free: 1 new itinerary per month and 3 changes on each itinerary.
Pass: one-time purchase, no renewal, with 3 new itineraries and 10 changes on each itinerary generated with it.
Pro annual: new itineraries under a fair use of 4 per month and unlimited changes, renewed automatically every year.

A change is each request to adjust the itinerary or for another stop suggestion that you apply. Replacing a place that is closed doesn't count.

Payments are processed by the App Store or Google Play, under each store's rules. Pro renews automatically unless you cancel in the store at least 24 hours before the end of the period; cancellation takes effect from the next period. Refunds follow the policy of the store where you bought, without prejudice to your rights under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, including the right of withdrawal where it applies.

Prices may change. A price change doesn't affect the period you've already paid for, and we'll let you know before a more expensive renewal.

Your content

Photos, memories and texts you put in Voyage remain yours. You only give us the permission needed to store, sync and show that content to you. We don't publish anything of yours. Only upload content you have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Don't use Voyage for illegal purposes, try to access other people's data, get around plan limits, automate requests, mass-copy the service's data or decompile the app. We may limit or suspend accounts that do so.

Third-party services

Voyage uses Google Maps. By using the map and places in the app, you also agree to the Google Maps Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. When you open a stop in Waze or Google Maps, those apps' own terms apply.

Availability

We work to keep Voyage running at all times, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or because of third-party failures. What's saved on your phone for offline use is a copy of the itinerary at the moment it was saved. We may change, improve or remove features; if something paid stops existing, we'll treat it fairly with those who paid.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for incorrect third-party information, such as a closed place or a different price, for road conditions or for decisions made based on the itinerary's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code grants you.

Termination

You can stop using Voyage and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, stating the reason, except where the law prevents it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the change is significant, we'll let you know in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Voyage after that means accepting the new version.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction over any dispute.
